Commercial Lead

  • Drive revenue growth, market engagement, and commercial performance
  • Build influential relationships across a professional services environment
  • Shape the future direction of a growing education and events portfolio

About the role:
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, we're seeking a commercially minded and relationship-focused Commercial Lead to drive the growth and performance of a portfolio of professional development programmes, events, and learning solutions.

This is a newly established role created as part of an ambitious growth strategy. You'll identify market opportunities, build trusted industry relationships, and develop a strong pipeline of relevant, high-value offerings that support professionals to stay informed, connected, and ahead of emerging trends.

Working at the intersection of commercial growth, stakeholder engagement, and product development, you'll use market intelligence, industry insight, and customer feedback to identify opportunities, attract leading subject matter experts, and bring new products and services to market.

Success in this role will be measured through revenue growth, increased market engagement, stronger industry partnerships, and the development of commercially successful products that respond to evolving professional needs.

Key responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue growth and portfolio performance through the development of commercially successful products, services, and learning solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships across the profession, engaging industry leaders, stakeholders, presenters, and subject matter experts to create valuable partnerships and opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, identifying emerging issues, legislative developments, and customer needs to inform product development and commercial decision-making.

What you'll bring:
You are commercially astute, naturally curious, and thrive on building meaningful professional relationships. You enjoy identifying opportunities, influencing stakeholders, and turning ideas into successful commercial outcomes.

You'll also bring:
  • Experience in professional services, legal, consulting, recruitment, membership, education, financial services, or a similar relationship-led environment
  • A proven track record in business development, partnership management, account management, or commercial growth
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The confidence and credibility to engage with senior professionals and subject matter experts
  • Strong research, market awareness, and opportunity-spotting capability
  • A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to work autonomously

What we offer:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation at a time of growth and transformation. You'll have the opportunity to shape the role, build an influential professional network, and make a meaningful contribution to the future success of a highly respected organisation.

We offer a collaborative and supportive culture, flexible hybrid working arrangements, and the chance to work alongside people committed to professional excellence and continuous learning.
