This senior position offers a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact. As a member of the senior leadership group, the Financial Controller will provide enterprise-wide financial oversight, ensuring robust governance, insightful reporting, and operational excellence. You will lead core finance functions including financial operations, statutory and regulatory reporting, capital governance, and compliance.
You will also modernise finance processes, systems, and capability to support faster, smarter decision-making. Your work will position finance as a true strategic partner to the business, providing insight and support to Executive and Board-level decision-making.
What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a strategic, commercially focused finance leader who thrives in complexity and delivers results.
You will bring:
- A Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent) with extensive experience leading operational finance at scale
- Proven experience in a Financial Accounting Manager or Financial Controller role within a large, complex organisation, ideally NZX - listed
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering improved business performance
- Excellent influencing skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, balancing analytical thinking with practical solutions
- The ability to manage competing priorities and make clear trade-offs
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship skills
