IN SIDE is seeking a General Manager to partner closely with the Managing Partner and leadership team, strengthening how we operate, collaborate, and deliver value across Wellington and the wider regions. With a people-first approach and a strategic mindset, you will help scale the business and embed the IN SIDE Way, enabling teams to thrive in a high-performance, values-driven environment. Importantly, this is a leadership role rooted in we, not me, and designed for someone who thrives on empowering others rather than seeking the spotlight. You will act as a trusted advisor and integrator across the business, helping activate the collective potential of our people, clients, and strategic direction. You will champion operational excellence, cultivate cultural alignment, and ensure the IN SIDE Way is embedded in the rhythm of our work.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement, enhancing workflows, reducing duplication, and embedding scalable practices and rhythms.
- Enable and develop leaders and teams to execute business plans, fostering alignment, capability, and a high-performance, purpose driven culture.
- Build cross regional cohesion, ensuring collaboration, shared purpose, and strong communication across teams and disciplines.
- Amplify IN SIDE’s market and community presence, contributing to thought leadership, industry engagement, and purposeful brand activity.
- Champion innovation and strategic initiatives that enhance internal cohesion, client experience, and leadership effectiveness.

You excel at leading through influence, building trusted relationships, and enabling high performing teams.
