- Join a purpose-driven organisation enriching Aotearoa and all who visit.
- Shape strategy using AI, automation and modern technology tools.
- Senior leadership role with multi-currency, international complexity.
We are working with a well-known organisation with a strong national profile and international reach. Following recent organisational change, they are seeking a Head of Finance to lead the next phase of the Finance function.
This is a senior role covering planning, forecasting, reporting, financial stewardship, treasury/FX, controls, procurement and commercial decision support. The organisation operates across multiple international markets, so there is useful complexity around offshore activity, multi-currency exposure and senior stakeholder reporting.
We are looking for someone who can sit comfortably between strong financial control and commercially useful insight.
You may be a Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Lead, Deputy CFO or similar.
You will ideally bring:
- CA or equivalent qualification
- Strong technical finance grounding, ideally Big 4 or similar
- Experience in a complex commercial, consumer-facing, branded or internationally connected environment
- Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting capability
- Credibility across controls, audit, governance and financial stewardship
- Exposure to treasury, FX, cashflow or multi-currency environments
- Strong stakeholder management with senior non-finance leaders
- Experience leading or developing finance teams
- A practical improvement mindset around systems, automation, analytics, reporting tools or AI-enabled ways of working
This is not a narrow technical accounting role, and it is not a broad CFO role. It will suit a commercially sharp finance leader who can bring clarity, confidence and momentum to a capable Finance team going through change.
