  • Drive commercial growth, partner performance and new opportunities
  • Key leadership role in a high-growth business with career progression

About Chubb Life:
Chubb Life is one of New Zealand's leading life insurers, helping thousands of customers protect what matters most. Backed by a global brand and over 100 years of local history, Chubb Life delivers a range of insurance solutions through advisers, strategic partnerships, digital channels, and direct customer relationships.

Driven by customer focus, innovation, and sustainable growth, Chubb Life continues to invest in its people, partnerships, and distribution capability. At the heart of its success are the values of integrity, excellence, respect, and teamwork.

About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this is a critical leadership role responsible for driving growth across Chubb Life's strategic partnership portfolio, while identifying and developing new partnership opportunities.

Leading a team of Relationship Managers, you'll combine commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional relationship management skills to maximise partner performance, enhance customer outcomes, and deliver sustainable growth. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and partner organisations to develop growth initiatives, strengthen referral pathways, and ensure Chubb Life remains a trusted and valued partner.

This is more than a relationship management role. You'll be a visible, commercial leader, influencing senior stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, and bringing strategic ideas to life. You'll help shape the future direction of the partnerships function while building the capability, structure, and commercial focus required to support Chubb Life's ambitious growth objectives.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing partnerships team.
  • Drive growth, performance, and profitability across strategic partner channels.
  • Strengthen senior stakeholder relationships and expand partnership opportunities.
  • Identify and execute initiatives that improve customer, partner, and commercial outcomes.

What you'll bring:
You are a commercially astute leader who thrives on building influential relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering growth through strategic partnerships. You are equally comfortable operating at a strategic level while driving execution and accountability across multiple stakeholders.

You'll also bring:
  • Experience leading partnerships, business development, or commercial growth functions.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Proven success delivering growth through strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrable experience working within financial services, insurance, banking, or a regulated environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
  • The ability to navigate complex organisations and influence senior decision-makers.
  • A proactive, resilient, and growth-oriented mindset.

What we offer:
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a business with significant growth ambitions and a strong market presence. You'll work alongside experienced leaders, lead a highly visible function, and play a key role in shaping the future success of the organisation.

Along with a competitive remuneration package and benefits, you'll have the opportunity to grow your leadership capability, influence strategy, and make a lasting impact in a business investing heavily in growth, innovation, and its people.
