A well-established New Zealand organisation is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to step into a busy, hands-on environment and pick things up quickly. 

This is not a strategy-only role. You’ll be in the detail from day one, supporting leaders across ER, coaching, and day-to-day people matters. 

You’ll report to a highly capable HRD who values pragmatism, sound judgement, and getting things done. 


What you’ll be doing: 
  • Leading ER cases end-to-end including disciplinary, performance, and investigations  
  • Coaching leaders through real-time people issues  
  • Supporting across the full employee lifecycle  
  • Translating policy into clear, practical guidance  
  • Providing steady, credible HR support in a fast-moving environment  
What matters most: 
  • You’ve done this before and can step in with minimal ramp-up  
  • Strong NZ employment relations experience is essential  
  • You’re confident handling ER without escalation  
  • You balance commercial judgement with people outcomes  
  • You’re available at short notice and open to a 6-month FTC
