A well-established New Zealand organisation is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to step into a busy, hands-on environment and pick things up quickly.
This is not a strategy-only role. You’ll be in the detail from day one, supporting leaders across ER, coaching, and day-to-day people matters.
You’ll report to a highly capable HRD who values pragmatism, sound judgement, and getting things done.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading ER cases end-to-end including disciplinary, performance, and investigations
- Coaching leaders through real-time people issues
- Supporting across the full employee lifecycle
- Translating policy into clear, practical guidance
- Providing steady, credible HR support in a fast-moving environment
- You’ve done this before and can step in with minimal ramp-up
- Strong NZ employment relations experience is essential
- You’re confident handling ER without escalation
- You balance commercial judgement with people outcomes
- You’re available at short notice and open to a 6-month FTC
