This well-established and respected boutique firm is currently seeking a capable and ambitious lawyer to join its busy and diverse practice. Reporting directly to both partners, the successful candidate will enjoy exposure to a broad range of matters including property, private client, commercial, and general practice work. No two days are the same, and you’ll get the chance to take real ownership of your work while always having a supportive team behind you. 


This role offers an excellent balance of autonomy and support. You will be entrusted with managing your own files while benefiting from guidance and mentorship when required—ideal for someone seeking to take the next step in their legal career. 


To succeed in this position, you will have a minimum of two years' experience in private practice and demonstrate a willingness to take on responsibility, as well as a genuine interest in client-facing work. Due to the firm’s structure and size, there is clear scope for genuine career progression. 

This opportunity may appeal to those currently employed at larger firms who are looking for increased autonomy and more direct client interaction, or to individuals relocating to Wellington and seeking to continue building on their legal experience.
