We are working with a large, complex organisation that is evolving how it plans, governs and delivers programmes of work. This newly created role exists to bring structure, discipline and momentum to that change, while staying close to delivery.
This is not a blue-sky strategy role. It is about planning work properly, moving initiatives through clear stage gates, and supporting teams to deliver and embed change once it goes live.
Sitting within a central planning and change function, this role works across multiple internal teams to coordinate programmes and projects from early concept through to implementation and embedment.
You will establish and run structured planning and prioritisation processes, ensuring initiatives are scoped, sequenced and approved through clear stage gate frameworks. Once initiatives move into delivery, you will stay actively involved, supporting teams through rollout, removing blockers and helping ensure new ways of working actually stick.
This role is highly collaborative and hands-on. You will work closely with leaders and delivery teams to align priorities, manage trade-offs and keep work moving across parallel programmes.
- Coordinating planning and prioritisation across multiple internal programmes and projects
- Establishing and running structured, stage gated planning and approval processes
- Actively supporting delivery teams during rollout, removing blockers and maintaining momentum
- Working closely with teams to manage dependencies, sequencing and follow through
- Engaging internal stakeholders to align priorities and manage competing demands
- Supporting the adoption of new tools, processes and ways of working through practical, on the ground support
- Driving continuous improvement in planning and change delivery practices
What we are looking for
- Experience delivering programmes, projects or change initiatives within complex organisations
- Strong planning, coordination and governance capability
- Comfort operating within stage gate or portfolio management frameworks
- Proven ability to work hands-on with internal stakeholders at multiple levels
- Clear, pragmatic communication and facilitation skills
- A calm, organised and delivery focused approach to change
