We’re looking for a seasoned ER professional ready to step into a newly created Principal Adviser – ER & Policy role within a government organisation. This is a rare chance to influence at a senior level and shape the organisation’s ER and policy direction.
In this role you will:
- Lead on complex, sensitive ER matters and provide trusted advice to senior leaders.
- Shape and implement ER strategy and policy, ensuring best practice and alignment with legislation.
- Represent the organisation in high-level discussions with unions, legal counsel, and sector forums.
- Coach and build people leadership capability across the organisation.
What you’ll bring:
- Deep expertise in complex ER casework and strategic advisory.
- Strong ability to influence, coach, and build trusted relationships at senior levels.
- Experience in ER policy development and implementation.
- Public sector experience (desirable).
- NZ citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
