We’re partnering with a leading NZ private organisation to find their next Senior Financial Accountant.

You’ll take ownership of the full financial accounting cycle — from month-end reporting and reconciliations to statutory accounts and audits. You’ll prepare audit-quality analysis, technical accounting papers, and ensure compliance with NZ IFRS, IRD, NZX, and FMA requirements.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll get into the detail, drive month-end processes, and contribute to process improvements that make a real difference.
What you’ll bring
- CA qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong financial accounting experience in a large private, commercially focussed business
- Excellent understanding of NZ IFRS, reporting standards, and audit cycles
- Experience with Opex/Capex and month-end processes
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
