We’re recruiting a high-calibre Senior HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity to bring your HR expertise into a team making a positive impact across Aotearoa.
About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you’ll step into a busy and varied role that blends core generalist HR advisory work with project responsibilities. The position has come about due to an internal secondment supporting an exciting HRIS implementation.
You’ll work closely with a dedicated People & Culture Coordinator, supporting approximately 160 employees, while collaborating with a broader P&C team of 8 based across Wellington and Auckland. This is a fast-paced, hands-on environment where your contribution will be valued.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- End-to-end generalist HR support to managers and teams
- Leading Health, Safety & Wellbeing initiatives
- Workforce reporting and analytics for senior leadership
- Supporting a graduate programme
- Job evaluations and remuneration support
- Contributing to policy development, performance management, and engagement projects
What We’re Looking For:
- An experienced HR professional who can hit the ground running
- A positive, proactive team player with a go-getter mindset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven experience in recruitment, HSW, ER/IR, and reporting
- Comfortable juggling business-as-usual and project work
